This book was written to celebrate 90 years of a fantastic Island business founded by women. The book’s first part recounts the interesting beginnings, the purchase of the property on India Street, and the formal organization as an independent 501(c)3.

The second part features 32 stories written by volunteers, shoppers, donors, and Board members. These firsthand experiences convey the spirit and heart which is the source of all that is great about the shop and explains the ongoing success of the Hospital Thrift Shop.
